This piece from 2023 consists of irregularly shaped prints of plant roots barely held together by root-like wires. These thin, wiry lines visually connect the fragmented prints (dimensions 26x 24 cm).
With this piece, I am contemplating the ways of nature, where we so often observe a dependence within and between species. This interconnectedness is something that comes naturally to plant populations, but we, the humans, often forget that we are deeply interconnected with and dependent on our fellow species, especially the plants.
